Roy Beveridge, MD
Roy A. Beveridge, M.D., joined US Oncology in September of 2009 as executive vice president and medical director for US Oncology. Prior to joining US Oncology, Dr. Beveridge served as part of the US Oncology network as a medical oncologist caring for patients at Fairfax Northern Virginia Hematology Oncology in Northern Virginia.
Dr. Beveridge received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland and his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College in New York, New York. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Chicago Hospitals and his fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.
Dr. Beveridge has been published extensively in the field of stem cell transplantation, medical oncology and hematology. He has worked with many organizations including the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation, and served as past president of the Patient Advocate Foundation.
J. Russell Hoverman, MD, PhD
J. Russell Hoverman, M.D., Ph.D. specializes in hematology and medical oncology and is board certified in internal medicine and hematology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Hoverman serves as the vice president of managed care for Texas Oncology and is the medical director of managed care and disease management for US Oncology. He oversees the Texas Oncology Quality and Peer Review programs and participates in collaborative initiatives with managed care payers. Dr. Hoverman also serves as a member of the US Oncology Pathways Task Force and Practice Quality and Efficiency Committees, and has been an important part of the nationwide safety program. He has a long-standing interest in improving communication between patients and physicians, especially for those patients with terminal illnesses at the end of their lives and is a strong supporter of hospice programs.
Dr. Hoverman received his Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, and his medical degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. From 1971-1972, he completed his internship in internal medicine at Albany Hospital in Albany, New York, and his residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor Affiliated hospitals in Houston, Texas, finishing in 1977. He served as chief resident in medicine during his residency at Baylor. Dr. Hoverman received his doctorate in philosophy from The University of Texas in Austin, Texas.
Dr. Hoverman is the president of the American Cancer Society, Central Texas Division; a member of the Steering Committee for the American Society of Clinical Oncology’s Quality Oncology Practice Initiative, chairman of the Ethics Committee for Hospice Austin; and serves as the Texas Oncology representative to the Cancer Quality Alliance. He also serves as a State of Texas ethics consultant for advance directives in state facilities and for the committee to plan for an influenza pandemic. He is a former member of the Seton Hospitals Ethics Council, a former member of the Hospice Austin Board of Directors, and was a founding member of the St. David’s Hospital Ethics Committee in Austin, Texas.
Mike Kolodziej, MD
Michael A. Kolodziej, M.D. specializes in hematology and medical oncology and is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Kolodziej is a medical oncologist with New York Oncology Hematology, Albany Cancer Center and serves as medical director for oncology services for US Oncology and chairman of the US Oncology Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee.
Dr. Kolodziej received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Barnes Hospital at Washington University in 1985, his residencies in internal medicine and hematology-oncology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 1987, and his fellowship in the Hematology-Oncology Section of Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 1991.
Dr. Kolodziej is a member of several professional and scientific societies including the American College of Physicians, American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology. Among his many awards and honors are the American Heart Association Travel Award, International Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis Travel Award, and the American Federation of Clinical Research Travel Award.
Marcus Neubauer, MD
Marcus Neubauer, M.D. specializes in medical oncology and is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Neubauer serves as the chair of the Pharmacy & Therapeutics and Quality Improvement committees for Kansas City Cancer Center and is the medical director for clinical pathways-medical oncology for US Oncology. He also serves as a member of the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee for US Oncology.
Dr. Neubauer received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington, Seattle and his medical degree from the University of Kansas in Kansas City. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Kansas. He completed his fellowship in Oncology/Hematology at the University of Washington.
Dr. Neubauer is a member of the Clinical Practice Committee for the American Society of Clinical Oncology and president of the Kansas Society of Clinical Oncology. He is a former medical director of the St. Luke’s-Shawnee Mission Hospice in Shawnee Mission, Kansas.
Gregory Patton, MD
Gregory A. Patton, M.D. specializes in radiation oncology and is board certified in Therapeutic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
Dr. Patton serves as chief medical officer for the Northwest Cancer Specialists and is the medical director for Radiation Oncology Pathways for US Oncology. He also serves as vice-chairman for US Oncology’s Radiation Oncology committee.
Dr. Patton received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX and a Master of Science in administrative medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also received a Master of Science in Medical Informatics and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Utah. He completed his residency in therapeutic radiology at Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals.
Dr. Patton is a member of several professional organizations including the American Medical Association, American College of Physician Executives, American College of Radiation Oncology, American Society for Radiation Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Oregon Medical Association and Oregon Radiation Oncology Society.
